According to this Hunch.com infographic, based on my gender, politics, education and sense of humor, Frankie is supposed to be meowing.

Do you have the right pet?

  1. people with no pets tend to be successful and admirable. hmm. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, that makes me original and unique!

Maybe someone can float a new date-match-y site matching petowners by matching their pets. . .

  2. So we “should be cat people” who really like dogs are just contrarians, huh? That doesn’t surprise me one bit.

I never did like following the crowd.

  3. Well now I have cats, but used to have dogs and will have more dogs in the future, I’m confused… but it’s probably a good job I have a bit of a mix of all of the above 😀

  4. Since I have both a cat and a dog, and I love them both equally (mostly) I guess I am supposed to be at least six years older, vote for the the Canadian Liberal Party, and have a perfectly mowed lawn… Obviously I missed the memo.

Statistics like these are interesting but are so rarely accurate depictions of anything.

  5. I fit bits of both profiles. Maybe there are two of me! And my husband really kind of fits the dog profile, but the dog is MINE.

In all seriousness, I’m a cat person. I’m an animal person, really (only money prevents me from owning a horse), but cats are my favourites. Damn allergies….

  6. I know, I know…it’s goofy and meaningless but it has statistics — and specifics like who your favorite Beatle is — and therefore it’s very difficult to resist. And it’s far less whacky than, say, the blood type diet.

  7. Hmm, according to these stats, I should have a cat. I absolutely HATED NCFOM, Crash and Chicago, but loved The Hurt Locker & Million Dollar Baby. Everybody Loves Raymond and American Idol make me mental and I loved Confederacy of Dunces.

I suppose that Vizslas are like cats. They loves to sit on their owners 🙂
