Will my dog hate me* if I blog about cats? Not if you don’t tell him.
In looking through my draft files for the blogs I’ve always meant to post, I found several feline-oriented ones. This pet adoption video isn’t really funny, but that was never my sole criterion for the series. It’s charming, it (almost) makes me want to adopt a cat, and it definitely doesn’t make me want to kill myself.
So here you go with this PSA, brought to you by the Denver Dumb Friends League. Enjoy.
*In case you’ve forgotten, or were wondering: My blog’s name is short for Will My Dog Hate Me if I Dress Him, an alternate title for Am I Boring My Dog. Maybe I’ll be posting blog factoids in this final month of pet blogging. Maybe not.
Wonderful! People think I don’t like cats; I do, just not with this number of dogs and an open dog door :).

The cat video struck a good chord. I’m reviewing Peter Gether’s trilogy of cat stories (starting with The Cat Who Went to Paris) for Pet Travel Thursday and cats are much on my mind. I’m wondering if I should be adopting a feline friend for Honey (who is favorably inclined toward cats). So we’ll see in time if your cat propaganda did the trick. 🙂

Cats often fit well onto boats. Their willingness to use a litter box makes them much easier to boat train than a dog.
I’m definitely interested. But given how hard we’re working to make Honey comfortable with shifting surfaces under her feet as part of our own preparations, I think I’d better wait until we have the boat before taking on another animal I’ll need to train in seamanship. 🙂
